Back in January of 2021, several RLM professionals started taking classes to further their skills and understanding of horticulture. It’s our goal to provide the best landscaping services to our clients throughout Northwestern Indiana, so we felt it was our duty to enroll in the Indiana Accredited Horticulturist Program organized by the Indiana Nursery and Landscape Association.
Members of our staff, including salesmen, office admins, laborers and others, have been meeting weekly in preparation for the IAH exam which will be administered in March of 2021.
By completing the program, RLM technicians will stand out from the competition being Indiana-certified horticulturalists dedicated to ongoing education.
Landscaping is an exact science. Horticulturalists in Indiana focus on the reproduction of plants to ensure they grow strong and have access to the nutrients they require for long-term health. Having background knowledge on plant development is incredibly helpful for coming up with landscape designs, as Indiana horticulturalists grasp what types of flowers, grasses and shrubs do well in local environments.
Ricci’s Landscape Management looks out for your residential or commercial property year-round. By becoming Indiana-certified horticulturalists, our technicians will build on our more than 25 years of industry experience to maximize the amount of green space in your yard. Passing the IAH exams is just one way we plan to continue our focus on using environmentally safe methods to keep properties in Northwest Indiana looking beautiful and clear of disease.
