Fertilization is vital in our region, however browsing your local home improvement store for the right blend of fertilization can be a daunting task. Having professional care for your lawn all season long takes the stress and worry out of managing the proper selection of products needed to promote a healthy, lush, green lawn. It will also help in early detection of disease or insect infestation, which can be disastrous for even the most well-maintained turf.

The days are getting shorter so now is the perfect time to think about what your property needs before the first snowfall.

Fall is the perfect time to aerate, overseed, dethatch, and fertilize. Aeration and seeding have the greatest effects during autumn months, leading to a thicker and healthier turf in the spring. Fall is also a great time to protect your trees and shrubs which need nutrients in the soil to stimulate spring growth. Providing additional preservation in the form of a spray-on tree protectant will reduce water loss and remain stable during the harsh winter improving the survival of trees and shrubs exposed to Northwest Indiana winters.
